Silver Satin PS3 or Xbox 360 ?

by Perceval Mackendrick

Announced in early February, both the Silver Satin PS3 and Xbox 360 Arcade are now on sale in Japan. The SS PS3 is a spec-for-spec equivalent of the existing black and white Japanese models. However, this is the first time the entry-level Xbox 360, already available outside of Nippon, makes an appearance on Japanese soil. Guess which one Japanese gamers are more likely to buy? Right, the Wii.

Well, the decision rests upon your shoulders: Do you want a PS3 or the XBOX 360? What difference will it make to you as a parent, only except for the fact that you will be saving almost 150+ when you buy the XBOBX vs buying the PS3. However, there are many things that the PS3 has that the XBOX is not capable of, for example, if your son already has a PSP, then he is able to use it as a remote to his PS3. Also, the PS3 has the ability to use multiple interface remotes such as the Wii.

Or do you want to altogether forget the two, and just go for the awesome Wii that every kid wants these days? (And also that they may be hard to find.) Well, regardless of the case, I think that buying them a video gaming system should be thrown out of the question, you should just buy them an awesome loaded computer, it might be a little bit more expensive, but alteast he might decide to read things over the internet.

But this is not what your child wants, he either wants the PS3 or the XBOX 360. Well, which one is it: Sony or Microsoft? Well, do yourself a favor and do not ask your child to what he wants, go to the store and just get him that XBOX 360, or even better yet, give him the money to get an XBOX 350, and ask him to earn up the rest if he wants the PS3, then, all problems are solved, and then you can start blaming him for not spending his money wisely when he has none left :D Good Parenting SKills merely begin to kick in when you buy the video game systems :!:
